What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a type of manual therapy that focuses on the individual needs of each person. The goal is to improve wellness by removing restrictions within the body. By doing so, the body is then able to function better, which results in an overall healthier quality of life. The manual techniques used can have an affect on all bodily systems. These techniques are gentle and safe, and include working with soft tissue, the cranium, joint mobility, and organ function. Osteopathic treatment focuses on the individual as a whole, and aims to find the pathway of health by removing dysfunction.
